Community centre, Ashford Place, spent two years working with the charity, Community Action on Dementia (CAD) Brent, to develop a ground-breaking new service designed to change the way people live with dementia. The project was developed by people with dementia, for people with dementia, and is aided by professional support staff.

To launch the new service, tpr media created a campaign designed to raise awareness among the public, health professionals and government. Coverage highlights included an interview on BBC Radio 4’s PM programme with one of the project coordinators, stories in the Journal of Dementia Care and Nursing Older People (a white paper on working with older people) and widespread local media coverage.
